The Week Nine Winner

Nicholas Kritikou

J H Leavy & Company
Brisbane, Australia

Nick is the second winner from down under. Nick works with our 5th week winner Elias Anastasios at J.H. Leavy & Company. Nick successfully picked 12 out 14 games and survived a very close tiebreaker. We will be sending a Visa Gift card to Nick worth $300 dollars for his effort instead of the Dell 22 High Def monitor. We will give the monitor away in week 10. It is easier to ship a gift card to Australia than a large monitor!

As we approach mid season the winners are becoming harder to choose. The competition is getting tougher but it only takes a few good picks and a little luck to win the pool. The Monday night game was going to be on a tiebreaker with 4 people in the hunt. Pittsburg was favored by 39 of the top 40 players so it was going to be decided by the tiebreaker. The toughest choice of the week was the game between the Colts and the Patriots but 32 out of the top 40 players got it right. I was not one of them. The heart breaker of the week for many was San Diego’s loss. It makes you wonder what is wrong with that team, as their play this year doesn’t reflect the talent on the team.

The Week Nine Prize

Dell 22" Widescreen Flat Panel Multimedia

The Dell E228WFP’s fast 5ms response time, high contrast ratio and 1680x1050 resolution lets you view images, documents, graphics and video with stunning detail, vivid color and fluid motion. The performance of the Dell 22” monitor is one more reason why Dell is America’s #1 source for flat-panel displays.
