Mike won this week’s pool by only missing three picks. I would question his picking Miami to win but others players did as well. His choices of New Orleans over Chicago and Minnesota over Denver were very understandable. He was in a very good position had it came down to total points with his choice of 28 points because very few players picked less then 30 points. Mike’s prize for his winning effort was a $300 Visa Gift Card.

There was a lot of great football played this weekend as teams that could have sit out their players continued to play to win. The exceptions that stand out being Tampa Bay and The Colts. They both lost and dashed the hopes of more than one pool player.
The upset of the week has to go to Atlanta for beating Seattle. The best game of the week has to be New York and New England. It was the impressive play of the Giants that made it a great game. I realize that New England has the best record but there are teams out there that can beat them and there is always the chance of their Super Bowl run being upset by one of those teams. That is what makes football so exciting.
