Dan, with his carefully crafted picks eliminated the rest us early in this week’s competition. This is the first time that we haven’t had to wait until Monday night to find out the winner. Even if his team looses tonight he can’t be defeated as he has only missed one game so far and the player in second place has the same pick as Dan for tonight’s game. Danny picked Green Bay to win but failed as Green Bay had a rare off day this season and disappointed a lot of pool players. Dan won the iPod Classic for his winning effort

The upset of the week for pool players had to be Green Bay against Chicago. Chicago has had an up and down season but Green Bay didn’t play well and didn’t have a chance against a fired up Chicago team playing for pride rather then the play offs. The game of the week so far was Redskins over the Vikings. Joe Gibbs, who made some coaching errors last week, made up for it this week with a momentum changing challenge that stopped the surging Vikings in their tracks. The Denver/San Diego game might be a great game. Denver is very capable of winning against a favored team.
This is the final week of regular play but not the end our First Annual AgPlus NFL Football Pool. We will be giving away prizes through the Super Bowl so remember you have to play to win. Many teams that have already won positions in the play offs will be setting out key players so it will be a tough week to pick winners. Get your picks in early.
