Joel Salazar
Western Fresh Marketing
Joel’s player name is Raider Woes and the Raiders continue to live up to his screen name. I couldn’t help but notice that Joel didn’t pick the Raiders to win. At least some good came out of the Raiders loss as Joel won the pool prize. Joel was excited about winning the prize and indicated he hadn’t won a prize since 1997. I always enjoy calling the winner as all of them seem to be in a great mood.
Joel won the Dell 22” widescreen flat panel multimedia monitor for his winning effort.

There was a lot of pain both on the football fields and in our football pool this weekend. Rain allowed me to stay inside guilt free and feast on NFL football. This was a bad weekend to do that as I watched team after team I picked go down in flames. If misery loves company I was in a good place as the pool players as a whole had a terrible week picking winners. You have to go all the way back to Week 4 to compare just how bad this week was for our players. Teams which were easy picks to win lost some heart breakers. The Colts were at the top of my heartbreaker list followed closely by KC which managed to give Denver 14 points in 9 seconds. The good news is we can start making our picks for next weekend and hope for better results.
There is a lot of time left in the season for you all to win so keep playing. There is still about $6,100 in prizes to give away.
