Joe Belyea was the Player of the Week after beating out three other players in the Monday night game. He won on a Tom Brady’s touchdown pass with less the 40 seconds to go on Monday Night. He picked 13 out of 16 games correctly and took some chances on his picks but came up with the prize with his tie breaker of 52 points. His prize was a $300 Visa Gift card that I am sure he will put to good use.

Week 13 was another exciting week in the football pool. It all started off with Dallas , beating Green Bay Thursday night. Dallas was favored to win by a majority of the pool players. Two games stand out as swing games. The loss of Washington and Denver cost many players their shot at the prize. Denver ’s game against Oakland was the upset of the week. I would have never have picked Oakland over Denver but two of the four players in contention to win the pool did pick Oakland . There was one lonely soul that picked Baltimore to win over New England . They must have been very excited by that game but their, against the odds picks, kept them close to the bottom the standings.
The game of the week has to be New England against Baltimore . Granted there would be some that would argue my choice but with an upset in the making and the cliff hanger until the last few seconds makes it my choice.
