John King was the Player of the Week with his winning picks. He only missed two games KC and AZ. John’s choice of KC and AZ to win shouldn’t be judged too harshly as both teams, according to our players, were favored to win. John is the first winner to have locked up the prize on Sunday. You have to go to the second page to find a player that picked Miami to win on Monday night. John won the iPod Classic for his keen choice of teams.

The most missed game of the top 40 players this week was Arizona losing to San Francisco. There were only two of us that picked San Francisco to win. Kansas City losing to Oakland was ranked 2nd as the most missed game. It is painful for Kansas City fans and our players to see a team lose what should have been an easy win. I am sure some Oakland fans would disagree with that assessment. This is the first week that the winner outcome was decided on Sunday. I can only guess that the player that finished second, showiee (Chris) is a NYJ fan. Why else would he have been one of only 4 players to pick NYJ over Dallas. His loyalty or just a bad pick cost him the prize. He would have won on the tie breaker having picked 7 points. Better luck next week Chris.
It would be tough to pick the best game of the week because there were some great ones. I would have to pick the Miami/Pittsburg game as the worst of the week, from the viewers prospective. You really had to feel sorry for both teams playing on that mess of a field in the rain. That game would have been better viewed in a recap rather the watched in its entirety. I did watch the whole game being constantly amazed by the field conditions and the announcer’s banter trying to fill in many slow spots in the game with football trivia. I wasn’t going to watch the entire game but I was waiting on someone to score thinking the game would be pretty much over then. I hadn’t planned on Pittsburg waiting until less than a minute in the game to score.
